I'm Julia, the founder and designer behind Stones and Stuff Stockholm.

I am the one who runs the brand, who design, create, and make everything you see here.

My passion for stones and crystals dates way back, where my parents took me to stone and crystal fairs and there, I learned about the unique beauty and creations of nature. But seeing there jewellery made of stones and crystals always seemed boring and outdated. I often wondered if it needed a refresh and modern touch.

My story with jewellery making started much later and pretty randomly.

Scrolling through my phone in 2020, I found a picture of a stone necklace that I haven’t seen before. I thought - I can make it better. So I bought the materials and started “doing it better.”

Did I succeed in making it better? Of course not! Every jewellery designer has a unique style, and I've learned with time to embrace mine, following my intuition and aesthetic instinct. True design in my opinion, come from and authenticity and staying true to oneself.

I still strive to work on my style.

I'm still learning, but after nearly 4 years of material exploration and creating a lot, I can say I am proud of my creations. 

I strive to also work on what is important for me. And it is the reuse of materials already in existence. I've started acquiring materials from the second circuit to obtain truly special and rare items, and to create more environmentally-friendly jewellery.
